Have you got a very long or ugly link that you want to include in your company emails?
For example, you want to point your prospects and customers to your YouTube channel, but your YouTube link looks something like this:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAyEr9fimIkBJsEhTO-n41Q
1. Start by going to servicem8.com > settings > email templates and either create a new one or edit an existing email template.
2. Type the text you want to show – it can be something like:
Click here to watch my epic, helpful videos
3. Then highlight that text and hit the link button (number 2 in the image)
4. Finally copy paste your long ugly link in the ‘URL’ box and hit OK
Test your link by sending the email to yourself first, just to double check it goes where you want it to!
(I recommend that you have a ‘test’ job in your ServiceM8 – just a job where you’re the customer – you can then use this to test emails, text messages, forms and more)
So there you have it – a quick and easy way of having nice-looking links to your YouTube channel without the customer having to look at a bunch of random characters 🙂
