If you’re not using Proposals yet, you’re missing a trick

ServiceM8’s awesome Proposals feature has been around for nearly a year now, and between you and I, it’s just about to get some serious improvements.

Proposals mean that you can give your potential customers a choice now – they can choose between options A, B or C; select upsells and extras and build their own quote.

The popular psychologist Nick Kolenda explains that by providing your potential customers a choice, you activate a ‘which to choose mindset’.

If shoppers are browsing products and you give them a choice, they might skip the first stage of “whether” to buy — and proceed immediately to the second stage of “which” to buy.

Plus, when they make their choices, the price of the quote is then calculated for them and when the Proposal is accepted, ServiceM8 applies their choices directly to that job.

Don’t forget another key principle when you’re quoting – Selling is Telling.
